the last tower of the House of Vialardi in Vercelli
Built next to the family Palace between 1340 and 1345 by Manfredo Vialardi, this tower was sold by the family after 1590. The House of Vialardi is one of the oldest in Vercelli and its name is closely linked to the formation of a new hierarchical social order in town: the institution of the medieval Commune.
